What I Wore | Jacquard A-line Dress

Wednesday, July 29, 2015

Hi everyone! How was your midweek? It has been a busy week for me... Im still trying to breath.
Here's my outfit for last Saturday's event that I have attended. The event was a meet and greet with Celebrity Chef-Nutritionist Nadine Tengco, and it was held at KaVe Restaurant Bar, Luxe Hotel.
Took the chance to wear this vintage jacquard dress from Zaful.com. This dress is so pretty, makes me feel so feminine.
I actually had a fashion emergency on the way to the event. One of my shoe broke... :( Since it'll consume too much time to go back home, I asked my friend to bring her wedge shoes...Why wedge? Because her shoe size is smaller than mine, so better be safe. Unfortunately, she left the shoes that she had already packed... oh.. oh..  I almost canceled my attendance to the event. Good thing my friend kept a shoe glue in her car. It was able to remedy my broken shoe.
Moral lesson: Always checked your shoes before wearing it. Specially if you havent worn it for a long time.  Shoes that arent worn for a long time are most probably causes fashion emergencies.

With my equally pretty, fashionista and so preggy friend . She took my outfit shots by the way. Thanks Dee! ;)

  3. What a beautiful outfit! Fashion emergencies are so unexpected and have terrific consequences. I try to prevent them by buying high-quality, being careful with the way I wear and store my stuff and if I have an important event, wearing them a few days before to be sure. But of course, we can never be sure. At least you were able to fix it!

    1. Thank you.
Yes I definitely agree with you. Its recommendable to use your shoes regularly and dont just use them whenever the occasion calls. I have a lot of friends who also have the same emergency with shoes they haven't worn in awhile.
